Abstract—A measuring system intended for registration of the luminous fluxes observed in complex-kinetics
processes and rare multiphoton events is described. As a detector, a photomultiplier is used simultaneously in
a current mode with a time resolution of ~1 s and in a single-electron pulse mode with a resolution of up to 1 s. The
photometer comprises commercial instruments, in particular, computer-controlled units of the VECTOR–
CAMAC system. Thanks to the developed structure, the photometer can perform many functions, features a
wide range of amplitude and temporal characteristics, and can be used in various experiments in photophysics
and photochemistry, especially when simultaneous recording of the processes under investigation on different
time scales is required.
