AbstractWe studied vanadium(V) extraction by di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid (DEHPA) from 1.012.0 M sul-
furic acid. Optimal extraction parameters were determined. IR, 51V NMR, and electronic spectroscopy was used
to determine the stoichiometry of the extracted complex and the reaction equation for vanadium(V) extraction
by DEHPA. The equilibrium constant of vanadium(V) extraction by DEHPA was determined.
