Abstract—Regularities of vector fields of equilibrium tie-lines in the boundary concentration space of a tetra-
hedron are discussed. An equation for the algebraic sum of singular and critical boundary points is obtained.
The applicability of the equation is illustrated on examples of model and real melt–solid diagrams.
