Abstract—This article deals with a new class of nitric oxide donors—safe medications for the treatment of
socially significant diseases. This complex work has been performed in collaboration with a number of RAS
institutes, the Russian Cardiology Research and Production Complex, and the Blokhin Russian Cancer
Research Center.
