Abstract—The paper considers approaches to large- and small-scale zoning of the Siberian Platform (prov-
ince), which is subdivided, according to typomorphic features of diamonds, into four subprovinces: Central
Siberian, Lena–Anabar (Anabar–Olenek and Kyutyungda regions), Tungus (Baikit and Southern Tungus dis-
tricts), and Aldan subprovinces. This is exemplified by placer occurrences that are differentiated based on
eroded unidentified and identified, rich and lean bedrock sources. It is recommended to prospect high-potential
diamond-bearing pipes within the promising areas of the Central Siberian subprovince and in the Kyutyungda
and Baikit regions.
