Abstract—
The article considers environmental pollution caused by pharmaceutical waste in many countries as a new global environmental problem. A statistically significant correlation has been revealed between the maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances in fishery waters (MPCfw) and the average lethal concentrations for daphnia. MPCfw values were calculated for twelve pharmaceuticals.
