Abstract— Three-component condensation of aromatic aldehydes with malononitrile and 4-hexylresorcinol in toluene in the presence of a base leads to the formation of 2-amino-4-aryl-6-hexyl-7-hydroxy-4H-chromene-3-carbonitriles in good yields (79–90%). Structure of the compounds was studied using two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy methods. Bioavailability parameters were predicted in silico, and possible protein targets were predicted by protein-ligand docking.
