3-Substituted 1H-Phospholane Oxides in the Synthesis of 1-Hydroxy- and 1-Mercaptophospholane Oxides

Abstract— A method for the synthesis of 3-alkyl(benzyl)-1-hydroxy- and -1-mercaptophospholane oxides from 3-substituted 1Н-phospholane oxides was proposed. The starting 1H-phospholane oxides were synthesized in situ in one step under mild conditions, starting from the corresponding alumolanes.
