Abstract—
Electrochemical synthesis of new terbium(III) and gadolinium(III) coordination compounds with of 3,5-dialkoxybenzoic acids was carried out. It was established by thermogravimetry that terbium(III) compounds are thermally stable up to 300–330°C. The terbium(III) compound with 3,5-diethoxybenzoic acid has the highest luminescence quantum yield, and the Tb3+ compound with 4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybenzoic acid has the shortest luminescence time.
