Abstract— Organoselenium derivatives of bis(2-chloroethyl) ether of general formula (RSeCH2CH2)2O (R = Me, Et, Pr, i-Pr, Bu, i-Bu, C6H13, Cy, Bn, Ph) were synthesized. The products are potential electron-donating polydentate ligands for the synthesis of transition metal complexes, as well as the components of catalytic systems in the reactions of oligomerization of ethylene.
