Abstract—
Reactions of isonicotinic acid hydrazide and its trimethylsilyl derivatives with hexamethyldisilazane, organic, and organosilicon isocyanates were studied. The possibility of synthesizing previously unknown isoniazid derivatives by preliminary introduction of a trimethylsilyl substituent to the nitrogen atom was established.
