Abstract—The measurements on rotating disk electrodes made of Cd and Cd–Ni–Sb ternary alloys in 8.1 M
KOH solutions containing 10, 20, or 40 g/l of Trilon B are used to show that, in the potential range of active
dissolution of Cd, anodic process is described by regularities of mixed kinetics. The diffusion and kinetic com-
ponents of anodic current are determined. A kinetic scheme is proposed for anodic oxidation of the Cd constit-
uent from the Cd–Ni–Sb ternary alloys in concentrated alkaline solutions containing Trilon B.
