Abstract—A new version of the statistical method is proposed for finding adsorption parameters by optimizing
nonequilibrium curves of differential capacitance in the presence of organic substances whose adsorption on an
ideally polarized electrode in the first approximation follows the Frumkin isotherm and the model of two par-
allel capacitors. The method is used for analyzing the data published earlier on the adsorption of n-butyl,
n
frame0amyl, and n-hexyl alcohols and 5-chloro-1-pentanol on the Hg/H2O interface.
