Some Results of Studying Zooplankton
in Lakes of Northern Kazakhstan

Abstract—The results of a preliminary survey of the ecological state of 16 lakes in northern Kazakhstan are
presented. The ecological state and trophic status of the lakes were assessed using methods of bioindication.
The data on the saprobity and quantitative parameters of the lake zooplankton are given. Infection by Ergasilus
sieboldi
Nordmann was revealed in one of the waterbodies studied.
