Abstract—The possibility of obtaining information on the disjoining pressure of asymmetrical wetting films
on the basis of experimental data concerning polymolecular adsorption of different substances by porous mate-
rials was studied. The conditions under which this approach is adequate were formulated. Alternative represen-
tation of the initial results concerning polymolecular adsorption was analyzed to establish the effect of the
molecular, ionic electrostatic, and structural components of disjoining pressure on film thickness.
