Abstract—Inverse gas chromatography is used to study sorption of some organic substances by porous meth-
acrylic terpolymers. The glass transition temperatures of the terpolymers are determined, which increase with
the content of styrene. The second-order phase transition is discovered with hexane and cyclohexane as sor-
bates. A suggestion is made that sorption and dissolution of various polar substances take place in the regions
enriched with epoxypropyl groups, whereas hexane is sorbed and dissolves in the styrene-containing regions of
the terpolymers.
