AbstractThe method of the interpolation measurement of the time instants of an event occurrence
based on the estimation of the gravity center of a bell-shaped signal by spectral coefficients is presented.
It is shown that the use of linear algorithms for estimating the spectral coefficients of a regression model
allows for the picosecond accuracy of the measurements of the time intervals. The accuracy of the
method is illustrated by computer simulation results.
