AbstractProblems of estimating the confidence intervals of human face geometry characteristics for
people identification based on photo portraits are considered. The importance of a given problem is
emphasized at the identification precision determination. To define the confidence intervals of geometry
characteristics, the well-known Student method is used. The solution of the present problem results in
the identification systems efficiency increase.
