Abstract—Dynamical models for wide galaxy triplets with large characteristic galaxy crossing times (no less
than the Hubble time) are constructed and studied using numerical simulations, taking into account the nonsta-
tionary state of ensembles of such wide systems. The results are applied to a statistical determination of the total
masses of wide triplets using observational data from a new catalog of wide triplets. The analysis indicates the
presence of considerable hidden mass in these systems.
